The Manhattan cocktail originates from the 1880’s and is still widely available in many bars, cafe’s and restaurants today. A fine balance of whiskey, vermouth and angostura bitters.
– Rye Whiskey
– Sweet Red Vermouth
– Angostura Bitters
– Cherry for the Garnish
First, fill a mixing glass or cocktail shaker with ice and add all of the ingredients. Lightly stir and strain into a stemmed glass. Add a cherry for the garnish.
